Sweet and Sour Sauce
Description
A sweet and sour sauce made with standard pantry ingredients. This delicious, traditional sauce is great served with meatballs, tempura, or over rice.
Instructions
- Place sugar, water, vinegar, soy sauce, cornstarch, and ketchup in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir continuously until mixture has thickened.

- ⅔ cup water
- ⅓ cup white vinegar
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
